Clap for scarves

Well it's taken a while but I finally finished the clapotis scarf.

This was the only piece of Christmas knitting I did, so it makes sense that it would take me until the middle of January to get it done.

I think I'm a bit over this pattern now (that almost seems like knitting blasphemy, ha!) It took me twice as long to knit this scarf version than it did the other two full versions. But I like it. I used the Lion & Lamb I had left over from this and I think the yarn is great with this pattern (funny that.)

It's a bit short, there'll be no wrapping it around your neck a couple of times, but it will flick over one shoulder nicely.

Gosh I'm so sorry, it's all a bit boring really!

To make up for it, how's this for yarn porn:

Colinette JutterBug sock yarn in 'popsicle'

Makes me all hot and steamy...

Very cute and so not boring! Great colors... and I like that it's a mini version. I still haven't knit this pattern - which I think makes me some sort of rebel in the knitblogging world. It's been on my to knit list forever, though!

Wow, those are such happy spring colors! Perks up my winter-dull surroundings (though I guess it's not winter where you are!).

I think I just lost a comment somewhere in the ether - but to paraphrase my previous witty and intelligent comment - nice clap! and what sock pattern are you thinking of for the new delish sock yarn?

I'm not bored at all, the Cup o'tea looks great. I made a mini one in Noro and I confess that I have no wish to make a real sized one!! Very beautiful colours!!!

Wow, not boring at all! That clap scarf looks brilliant in that yarn...or that yarn looks brilliant in that pattern, having seen the yarn in real life. And the yarn porn - great colours for socks - you'll need to use that before winter to brighten up your cold tootsies!

I am currently experiencing a lack of mojo in the knitting department, so still no finished items, ALTHOUGH I think I have found the material to back the bag I am making for that special someone!!! ;)

Love your Clapotis - I'm thinking of a scarf version also.

How do you like the new Colinette (mine's on the way)?
