Distraction

Monkey sock one is done

I really enjoyed making this, it's a fantastic pattern.

Although there have been some colour pooling issues (these are two sides of the same sock)

No second sock yet. I keep getting distracted.

It's calling me.

Can you hear it?

edited to add: Purlyarns now has seasilk in stock. This wouldn't necessarily be significant, but if you've ever tried to get this in Australia you'll understand (yes you could order it from the US but it's even difficult to find there. And postage costs a bomb. And it's nice to support local business). I'm not really into randomly plugging things, but I emailed Taryn months ago and she said she'd let me know. And she kept me updated. And I think that's fantastic customer service. So go check it out if you want to treat yourself :) Sqwee!

I can hear it that wool is beautiful!

I like ppoling, but I know I am in the minority. The green wool?? Fantastic, I love it!! The Pomatomus (Hippo) socks?? I love mine, but I wish they were wool and not cotton.

The close-ups are heaven, even with the color pooling. I LOVE the pattern on the new green project.

What great socks you've got going!

And I can totally understand the lure of the green P's - pretty pretty yarn.

seasilk is delicious! I have two skeins of it in two different colorways and I can't decide what I want to use it for. So I take it out and pet it every now and then!

your socks look great. I have an unfinished pomatomus around here somewhere. someday I may actually finish it!

I like how it's pooling too! The colors are brilliant!

OH & that pom is wonderful! I can't wait to see it done!

You know, I'm sort of a pooling fan. I really like the way the colors develop their own structure, for lack of a better word. I think the sock is stunning.

Your monkey is gorgeous. Mine is so much more muted. ALMOST makes me want to do it again. ;)

Oh no! Is it the Jitterbug that's pooling? Mine will be arriving any day now... S#*T!

Wow! Wow... those look fantastic. I actually like the pooling - well at least from the detail pictures. Can't wait to see them when they are done!
